Citybound is an interesting sounding city-builder current in the early road towards an alpha version. We reported on it first a few weeks ago with an introduction, now it looks like it almost has some game-play.

Pixel Piracy is a game we have been following for some-time now, we first posted about it back in July of last year the day before my birthday in fact! It's changed a lot since then and is simply fantastic. We also have keys to give-away!

Planetary Annihilation is the crazy real time strategy game about planetary conquest on a massive scale. The game is thankfully native on Linux and has a new update to show off, it's all very social.

Today I took a look at Insanity's Blade a game Kickstarted at the end of last year. Insanity's Blade is a real retro-game in the sense that it feels like I'm playing on a Sega Megadrive.

As a music lover and a fan of Tower Defence games this has me interested. Sentinel is an interactive audio tower defense game. It mixes strategic game play with a dynamic music system.

Starsector previously known as Starfarer is a game I have been following since early 2011 and I am glad to say it's still being fully worked on. Starsector is an open-world single-player space-combat, roleplaying, exploration and economic game.

This is a long named game, "Because this is literally the best we could come up with: Retribution" hah nice. It's a very pretty looking arcade shooter and quite random (you can fire cheese!).

Project Zomboid is one of the few survival games that actually shows a lot of promise, not only because of the frequent updates, but it now has online support too. This latest version adds even more new features.

Contested Space is one of the more interesting titles to appear recently, I've played around with it and it's actually pretty fun, especially fun is designing your own ships.

There seems to be a lot of "x Simulator" games coming out recently. Tabletop Simulator aims to simulate a ton of different board-games with some funny results.

It's all well and good us having "SuperTuxKart", but KartSim looks fantastic and aims to be much more realistic. With great graphics, sounds and customization!

Infectonator Survivors is a Randomized Permadeath Survival Simulator that combines RTS, Tower Defence, Roguelike, and Management-Simulation gameplay. Currently in Steam's Early Access and it caught my eye, luckily the developers told me they have plans for Linux.

Black Ice is a fantastic looking FPS game with some RPG elements thrown in, it's awesome because it's like playing a shooter in Tron land.

Nuclear Throne is a very nifty little game from Vlambeer, it's a Procedural Death Labyrinth with over the top action and plenty of characters to choose from.

A joyful, casual puzzle game that will tease both your wits and your memory! Well that's what the developers claim anyway.

Heart Forth, Alicia is a beautifully crafted Metroidvania RPG on Kickstarter right now seeking funds. It has already hit well-over the initial goal and is sailing towards the Linux stretch goal, but why is it a stretch goal?

NEO Scavenger is a fantastic little game from Blue Bottle Games that blends survival with turn-based mechanics making for an interesting game.

Always Remember Me is an anime style visual novel game from Winter Wolves, previously released on Desura it has now joined the Steam ranks.

I have been chatting to the developers of The Last Federation for some-time now and have been able to play it before the release. I took a video and wrote down some thoughts on it.
